Diving Paradise Springs

Paradise Springs near Ocala is one of Florida’s most distinctive dives — a private karst-window cavern that descends through walls of prehistoric limestone packed with fossils: sand dollars, sea biscuits, and the remains of ancient marine life. Clear, calm, 72°F water year-round and a permanent descent line make it as accessible as it is unforgettable.

Why we dive here

The main cavern reaches about 100 feet, giving you real depth in a sheltered, current-free setting — perfect for the deep dive in your Advanced Open Water course, the Deep Diving specialty, and precise buoyancy practice. It’s also a favorite for underwater photographers hunting fossils in the limestone. (The deeper shaft below the cavern is reserved for cave-certified divers.)
